Welcome to Brindle's Animal Rescue Links. Being a rescued cat herself, she knows how it is to survive living in a flower pot, drinking rain water, trying to find a meal, and at a helpless disadvantage with protecting herself because she was de-clawed in her previous life. We found her in our back yard, drenched by the rain, starving for food and affection, all fur and bones. We took her in, and needless to say, today she is thriving indoors, getting a little less svelte and a little more spoiled. "Step up the menu please!" We are thrilled to have her and her "sister" we rescued several years earlier. Because we are so concerned with the overabundance of homeless, helpless critters, we decided to compile a list of links for you to help them find food, comfort, and hopefully a home. The importance of spaying and neutering our pets becomes so very clear when we see so many animals thoughtlessly tossed aside by people who "just don't get it". |
